Remember When You Wanted To Change Your Name To Jeff?
Okay, time for another installment of Diana posting things no one cares about...
The randomness that came to mind this time : Guys named Jeff who play guitar. I don't know about you but I was always seemed to get Jeff Healey confused with Jeff Buckley who I thought was Jeff Beck... Anyway if you don't even reconize those names don't bother reading on... I know it's not really important but it was frustrating me cuz I knew one of them is blind, one of them is dead and one of them is old and now I think I've figured everything out. So here goes...
Jeff Buckley
Chances are you've seen this picture before...Grace by Jeff Buckley came out in 1994 and is still talked about today. It's one of those album that's always considered one of the best of the 90s that everyone seems to love. (It's actually really good). It was the only album he made. He died 3 years later when he went swimming in the Mississippi River and drown.
Jeff Buckley = "The dead Jeff"
Jeff Healey
Jeff Healey is a blues guitarist, he's got a band called The Jeff Healey Band. Basically they've been around forever and they have like a million album but no songs I've ever heard of. Oh ya, and he's blind... it seems to come with the territory of blues guitarist
Jeff Healey = "The blind Jeff"
Jeff Beck
He's considered on of the best rock guitarists ever. He replaced Clapton when he left the Yardbirds. Then he had a band called the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart and Ron Woods, but Rod Stewart left to make a solo career. He tried making like 10 other bands but it never worked out so he just went solo. The only hit he had was when he got Rod Stewart to sing. Then he won a grammy for best rock instrumental...
Jeff Beck = "The old Jeff"
OTHER IMPORTANT JEFFs IN MUSIC:
Jeff Timmons
That's right, Jeff Timmons realeased a solo album this summer I bet you never even heard about it... Don't pretend like you don't remember who he is.
Jeff Foxworthy
Ya Jeff Foxworthy didn't make music...but he has a hell of a lot of cds so that's good enough. Remember when he had a sitcom? Basically he made a pretty successful career off of "you know your a redneck when..." jokes, but it's gotten kind of old and annoying. We get it you're lazy and not well educated and your grand-uncle-brother's a drunk...
Last but not least, possibly the MOST important Jeff in music...
DJ Jazzy Jeff

Does Geoff from Thursday count?
Man, so I have funny stories about him from backstage...
If I had a dollar for every funny/potentially damaging story I had about a band, I would probably have enough dollars to buy a few things off the McDonalds McValue menu. But not if Christine came with me. FATTY.
Oh man.
The "Jeff's Rooms" thing has plagued my mind for as long as I have been going to Christine's house.
